Abstract
A combusting jet plasmatron based on subminiature solid propellant rocket has been developed with plasma physics and aerodynamics for plasma stealth. It was obtained with Langmuir probe and its continu-um theory that the electron density distribution in longitude and cross section of jet field produced by the plas-matron. The result indicates that the jet field is a nonuniform plasma plume where contains plentiful free elec-trons and ions. The maximal electron density in the center of the jet filed is more than 4×1012 cm-3, which satisfies the primary demand on electron density for stealth plasma. The combusting jet plasmatron is a compar-atively promising technique for plasma stealth on aircrafts.
